As Chuck mentioned in his state of the residency, we'll continue the pick 4 and high speed rating contests in 2009. There will not be any changes; I think they work great as is.
As for the Fantasy Stable contest, I'll have final standings for 2008 up as soon as I can.
I will also continue to do this one in 2009, with a couple minor changes:
1. The 2009 fantasy stable will consist of 5 horses.
2. The 5 horses can be any age and any sex
3. Each player will be able to make a total of 5 changes to their fantasy stable throughout 2009. Once the 5 change limit is reached there will be no additional changes possible.
4. I think scoring will remain the same, and I'll post a thread on the contest page to sign up for 2009.
5. You can sign up at any time and all races count.
6. Chuck will let us know what kind of credit prizes we can offer for this contest. (It looks like 1,500 for 1st, 1,000 for 2nd and 300 for 3rd).
