Chuckrock - BP stables

I am still taking care of the SAINTPAUL stable, This contest was to run until the week of 3630 - which would be the last week.

Let me know of your decision?

Thanks,
TED - alias PREBOLA
chuckrock

was pazz or theo running this? i was under the impression that this was pazz's baby.
prebola

pazz was running it, until other things came up- Then THEO took it over starting this segment. He never updated this contest from the time this one started, You might not know, what BP's each stable started with for this segment
marmac

I was curious about this also. I was running Duluth for the period. I had bid races for 3616 and do have some entries but was going to hang it up after this week thinking I might be wasting my time. I'll see it through if you want. Let me know.
cothill

I have been keeping Rochester going.
chuckrock

for the time being please keep running them. i don't knowthe answer to this yet.
i will try and look into it today.
chuckrock

what weeks do the standings here : http://pazjazzstables.homestead.com/Minny_Rez_BP_Standings.htm

represent?
dundey

I've been running mine and will continue to do so.  If nothing else we'll get some more prize horses for the res.

Actually maybe this is a solution to our credit contest problem.  Perhaps we can give out some prize horses instead of credits for a few of the contests.
What do you guys think?

As for standings, I believe those are the results of the last cycle but the "current bps" column I think is before any prize horses were bred.
chuckrock

I can't even seem to find an updated standings anywhere.

any suggestions on what to do here are welcome, but I really don't know whereto begin with this one. I see a thread at the end of the last contest where a couple of prize horses were transferred to minnyholding stables. I also see the signup for the current contest..but nothing after.

I'd guess that as part of our prize credit solution, as dundey suggested, we could keep running the stables..breed prize horses with every 400 bp earned, and give out prizes that way. I wasn't running a stable but would certainly take one over if anyone else wanted to bail. If everyone else stays on i could just create another one and join in. I've noticed that I haven't seen anything from pazzjazz in a while either. His input would help here.

Let's see if we can compile a list of who is running what stable and whether they are willing to keep doing so, even if it means there is no prize at the end. Here is what we have so far:

Dundey - edenprarie
Cothill - Rochester
chuckrock - Duluth
Prebola - Saintpaul
Teamck - stcloud
wenlock - mnneapolis (through 3630)
nameless- BLOOMINGTN
chuckrock- COONRAPIDS
doza - LAKEVILLE
brentuk -MINNETONKA
marmac

Charley, for the last cycle we all took on stables but it was never updated. If you want a stable you can take Duluth if you like. I've been in the last two periods and could use a break. As I said I have entries this week and will make a couple of claims to get it up to ten horses. Let me know. If not I'll continue with it.
chuckrock

marmac -sounds good. pm me the password and i will take it over after the sunday update
marmac

Done.
Team CK

I will continue the stcloud stable

Jack
dundey

I run edenprarie
Should be able to breed another prize horse soon!
Cool

I have been running the mnneapolis but will sit the next contest out. I will continue to earn what I can for a breeding until I see a message about the next contest starting or one that tells us to breed if we have enough points to.

I was going to say that you should be able to find out the current standings by using the bp's earned this year total in the stables and deducting the bp's earned from the last contest from Paz's site but that doesn't take into account bp's spent on claims by the stables.

I guess only Theo has the notes of the starting amounts and there is no way to solve that.

do me a favor and run it through 3630, then send me in a pm the password. thanks! (if you have enough bp at that point you can breed one too.)
prebola

Most likely we will never find out the outcome of this contest. I know I started with about around 100 bp's and also made some claims.

Remember for the month of June -  50 percent of any breedings under 500

We may be able to breed more than one, in a stable.

Just a thought to build up the horse pool

Saintpaul stable might be able to get 3 out of it, I have 640 bp's with seven racing this week. Should go over 700 bp's by Saturday updates.

Then start a new contest the first Saturday in July, or when best suited
dundey

Thats a very good point.
We should all breed before the end of June to take advantage of the half price sale.  Many should be able to get 2 if you have around 500 bps.
prebola

BLOOMINGTN stable  is being run by Namless

COONRAPIDS stable - Theo

LAKEVILLE stable - doza

MINNETONKA stable - Brentuk

We rec'd the passwords in a pm from Theo, but I think he rec'd them from Pazz

so unless pazz or theo show up we're not likely to get the coonrapids password. I actually used to have it since i ran that stable the first time around, but i don't believe i saved it anywhere.
chuckrock

also as an fyi- brentuk and nameless are two of the residents i have yet to hear from.
Team CK

I had coonrapids before Theo, I will PM you the password.

I like this idea - breed what we can while the sale is on and start again in July of there is enough interest

Sorry, I'm still around chuck,
I've been keeping bloomingtn going, just havent ran any last 2 weeks. I will pass on to another res member who wants to run or continue . just let me know, I have been in last 2 contests so I could take a break as well.
