This contest is under going a change. Moving forward this, instead of being a contest per se, will be a method of raising contest prize horses. Residents will run a particular stable for a period of 13 weeks. During that period, anytime the resident earns 400 bp, they will breed a new homebred to be transferred to one of the three minnesota prize holding barns (minnyhold1, minnyhold2, or minnprize2). These horses will be used as future prize horses for other residency contests. This will be a way for residents to 'give back' to the residency.

There are 10 stables. Currently most are being run by residents. After week 3630 they will be transferred to another resident. Sign up here if you would like to run one of the residents to run one of these stable during the next 13 weeks post 3630.

COONRAPIDS
LAKEVILLE
MINNETONKA

To make this a little unique, the same resident will not run the same stable two 13 week intervals in a row.

I have rochester right now and will keep that one going for the next 13 unless someone really wants it.

BTW - because of the June discount I think anyone with 250 or more should breed a horse this week or next.

I was thinking the same thing Tom, and was planning to breed 2 since I have over 500 in edenparie.

I'll take any of the stables Chuck, does not matter which one.

SAINTPAUL stable is down to 3 runners. Will still run that one, if that is alright with yourself or give me another stable to run.

PLEASANT TAP / STOP THE MUSIC / TYRANT - This horse I will transfer to minnyhold1, after the updates are done. Since there is still 3 open slots in that stable.

I still have 192 breeding points left. Will try for a fourth this upcoming week. With the half off breeding under 500 sale, I think this weekend is the last for it.

Duluth Scat is being transferred to minnprize2. (Scat Daddy * Silver charm * Tale of the Cat.

Duluth still has 500+ bp and coon rapids has exactly 400, so i will breed in both this week.

i'll post something about this 'contest' this week. any other volunteers?

Charlie, I wanted to take a break this trip but not at the expense of leaving a stable untended. I'll take one if you can't get anyone.

It doesn't look like we have 10 members willing to run a stable. i will keep any extras afloat and running until someone else steps.

I'm also going to post a topic in the weekly chatter every week regarding this endeavor where you can keep everyone updated on how the stable is doing. I don't think we'll have a formal web page though.
