Old enough to remember Maggie May? I got nuthin' to play it on but I still have the 45. Bought at E J Korvette's for 69 cents. Very Happy

Not only that, I'm old enough to remember Korvettes! (the store, not the car for you kiddies out there!)
chuckrock

Yeah, I'm so old I can remember when Rod Stewart was listenable.

I'm so old I can remember him with The Faces, hell, I remember him when he was with Jeff Beck. That's old.

I'm so old that I can barely use youtube ... may have to name a horse Shape of Things now.

Nice one, Tom. Here's a Beck/Stewart we went nuts for as kids. No video though. Sounds dated now, but Stewart never sounded better to me. Haven't heard this in over 30 years.

Is the a rezzie or a nursing home? Anybody catch The Beatles first 3 weeks on The Ed Sullivan Show? That was an eye opener. Also a game changer. Music would never be the same...Thankfully!

Old people rock!
tseals

Sadly, somebody forgot to tell Rod Stewart. He quit rocking in the early 70s. Turns out he needed a guitar player a lot more than we thought....

But gotta say Aint Superstitious is another gem.

And we still rock! Hope we always will.

The strange part is that my teenage daughters are listening to a lot of this stuff now, including the Beatles.  Seems they're cool again (or still).

Posting while listening, to the above - thanks for posting.  Beck/Stewart were a pretty good combo.
