Let me know how you guys feel about participating.

Comedy Central invites residencies to join us in a new competition to be held July 25(sim week 4022). The inter-res challenge, called Tag Team, pits ten residencies against each other in a battle for team supremacy. All participating residencies will be paired up, and each team will compete together against the rest of the teams in a slate of races.

Each team will field a set of runners, half from each team. Each res is responsible for funding one race, and CC will work to negotiate a discount to bring the cost down. The races will be stakes events, tracks TBA.

The winning team will be determined by points earned in the races. Each winner earns 20 points, second 19 points, etc. Team with most points wins. The winning team will earn some superduper prize TBA.

The list of competing residencies will be announced shortly. If your res would like to play, please contact CMD or Squirrel (by PM here or at CC's mb).

2yo mile dirt open
2yo mile turf open

4+ 10 dirt open
4+ 14 turf open
4+ 8 turf open
4+ 6 dirt open

4+ 9 dirt f/m
4+ 12 turf f/m

3yo 9 dirt open
3yo 7 dirt f/m

Comedy Central has pushed back the start date by a week because we had a slight conflict due to our res challenge with Ohio. since they are being so gracious to accommodate us, I am going to go ahead and tell them that we will participate. Honestly I don't see any reason not to, especially since no one is obligated to nominate their horses. Of course if you don't the fields will be full of my loser horses...and i am sure you don't want that Smile

Regarding Tagteam...Can horses earn BP's in the races? Do you know how much each race is worth? (500K or 1 mil etc..??)
